Hey Hey Friends & Family:
For those of you on Facebook, I’ve enjoyed keeping in touch in 2012 and sharing my new Colorado life.
In particular, I’ve kept my New Year’s rez with a different unique hike every weekend (26 weeks now). Have stayed outdoors winter, spring and now summer every weekend and seen so much of my adopted home state – doing this with Rowan O’Roark (Ro), my Irish Terrier.
Ro and I have completed two 14ers (Bierstadt & Quandary – attempted Mt Evans twice). Super Ro, Sno Ro and now River Ro has literally tripled in size since early December (his ‘gotcha’ day from Denver airport).
TECH-UP — also on my 20-12 to-do list. It’s so easy to get lazy and stop learning – but why?
Selected a web host (bluehost), blog tool (WordPress), developed a web template (Artisteer), watched countless youtube ‘how to’ videos, and added plug-ins, widgets, static pages and spam blockers (Akismet) to my vocabulary.
Double that with a desire to journalize my life 2nd half – and BAM…
