It’s the mooooost wonderful time of the year  ♪ ♫ ♬ ♭ ♯

first SNOW of the season!

Felt teased all week.  30% chance of MAGIC starting at midnite.  20% chance of morning snow showers.  Middle of nite, jumped to my window – has it happened?  Is it snowing?  Nope, foiled yet again.  Weather forecast trickery.  ARGH.

Patience.  Bit by bit, little by little.  Morning flurries, afternoon squall, weekend MAGIC.  Winter wonderland ❄️

New digs.

MOVED! the Boulder-based company where I’ve been employed the past 7 years.

True success story.  Negative-equity when I came on board November 2011; today, Company is MAJORITY OWNER in a building DIRECTLY ACROSS the street: 4865 Sterling Drive.  Vision, innovative products & perseverance.  GREAT family company, GREAT group of individuals, GREAT personal fit – truly blessed.  Proud to be a small piece of the puzzle 🙂

Learning first-hand though, CHANGE is not everyone’s best shade.  Yikes!  Even just across the way, MOVING can be a HUGE STRESSOR.  Firm believer, come December [blanketed in SNOW, watching deer eat our new landscaping] “moving stress” will be but a memory.

Best foot forward, change is inevitable.  Embrace the NEW.  ALL the “NEWS” in your life.

CONGRATS! & thanks to the folks who put food on my table – Happy Labor Day, PS Audio!

Somehow lost in the excitement of year-round marathoning, our local Lafayette Peach Festival dropped off my radar – missed the past 2 years.  Luckily [thanks to Ash], World’s back on its axis.  Spin on, folks.  Kiddo scoped out the date, marked the calendar – absolutely ZERO chance of missing this year’s offering.  Palisades peaches.

Sweetest, juiciest and messiest PEACH on the Planet.  YUM!  Group-purchased a FULL flat with Ash & Tom this year.  $45/box; not cheap but mighty deee-lish.  Ate ‘til my gut protruded; pitted/quartered/froze the rest.  Will be a welcome treat when the snow flies 😊

the Tale of Colorado’s GREAT SUMMER PEACH doesn’t end there.

Tuesday Aug 21st – SIXTH year of shark tornadoes AND a slice of HOMEMADE PEACH pie.  Birthday Pie #2.  Different crust, different fruit – result?  Our Betty Crocker of the Rockies homered again, outta the Park.  Not just a baker, Ash’s a PIE-making SAVANT.  True life talent revealed.  Away with the mixer.  Buttercream piping – be gone.

Hear ye! Hear ye! I Decree: BIRTHDAY PIE, every year 🥧❤️
